New Year Revelation

To kick off 2009, the amazing talent that is Aruba Red delivers her soulful punk to Supersonic Buddha.
After providing vocals on Nitin Sawhney’s latest album London Undersound, we’re celbrating the release of her eponymous début album.
Produced by uber-producer Prash Mistry, it’s layered and prolific in influence but as a live act, she plays with a stripped down backing band of simple box percussion and acoustic guitar.

Shiva Soundsystem and Radio 1 DJ’s Nerm and D-Code, alongside stable-mates Soldgie and Zafrul, provide all the DJ support you need: Electro(nica), Drum & Bass, Breaks, Dubstep, remixes and that undeground stuff from the 90’s you know you still love.
