It’s that time again folks! Time for the slightly sporadic, but ever-so endearing and special Five Missions More Live! As ever we’re pulling a couple of random rabbits out of our musical hat, this time in the form of The Twleves Trio & Meme Love.
Live…
Twelves Trio (1965 Records)
A tremedous jazz trio who’ve just released their debut EP on Sheffield’s uber-label 1965. These lads are a veritable who’s who of current young British Jazz music, so expect a heady mix of Coltrane-esque ballads, dark twenty-first century waltzes, subtle hooks and tumbling Mingus-esque grooves.“It’s clever, eclectic stuff; Mingus, hip hop and folk are all named as influences but, crucially, it’s also got a bit of soul” Metro Jazz

Meme Love (Full Band)
Following the live jazz, we’re heading off in a completely different direction with the soon-to-be massive Meme Love. Having just signed a management deal with ‘big in the game’ management company Supervision (Crystal Castles, Late Of The Pier, Franz Ferdinand etc) Ms Love (reminiscent of a young Kate Bush) and her Band will be doing what they do best and showering us with a medley of beautifully written melodies and generally dancing about on stage.
