Kazim Kazim Kazim and Andy Lemay are the founding fathers of the infamous Hang the Dj! club night in Leeds. Starting out in humble surrounding with secret basement parties in Kazim’s house, Hang the Dj! gained quick notoriety in the city for their unique blend of underground house, techno and disco mixed with party pop, soul and funk. After hosting some unique Sunday sessions, the boys became backroom hosts of choice around the city providing support for the likes of the Unabombers, Clive Henry, Greg Wilson, Rob da Bank, Prins Thomas, Luke Vibert, The Nextmen, Finley Quaye, 4hero and a memorable gig with TY requesting a mic in their room after he finished his gig in his room.
In addition to providing dj support for some of their heroes, Hang the Dj! Have launched a second club night called Mystic Brew, which quickly became a staple in any discerning clubbers diary, with dj’s such as Recloose, Trus’me, James Holroyd, Bill Brewster and a certain Red Rack’em all-guesting. After a momentous 18 months, the boys have had the pleasure of playing at festivals worldwide such as Glastonbury, Lake of Stars [Malawi], Garden Festival [Croatia], Jersey Live and others.

Nottingham DJ Danny Berman aka Red Rack’em is well known for his illicit hip hop and disco edits which have been well supported by the Unabombers, Nextmen, Carl Craig and Prins Thomas. He is also a respected radio broadcaster and his fortnightly Smugglers Inn podcasts (available at http://www.redrackem.com
Expect to hear the finest hip-hop, disco, cosmic, electro, punk funk, proper house, broken beat, jazz, funk and wonky beats.
