Nottingham DJ Danny Berman aka Red Rack’em is well known for his illicit hip hop and disco edits and is also a respected radio broadcaster and his fortnightly Smugglers Inn podcasts. Gilles Peterson has been his biggest supporter, hammering not just Hot Coins tracks on Radio 1 but also previewing the exciting Marlinspike Detroit 2 step project on his Worldwide radio show.

This month Red Rack’em is joined by Andy Blake ( Dissident/Invincible Scum) is the man behind the uber cool London based electro/italo/disco/techno label Dissident and has a legendary collection of out there disco, electro, italo, cosmic and afro tinged records. Andy is a highly skilled DJ and he’s played at many top notch events including Horse Meat Disco, Disco Bloodbath, Fabric, Matter, Big Chill, Bestival and Big Chill. 

Dissident have released a very large amount of records in a very short space of time by some pretty highly regarded artists such as Ali Renault (Heartbreak), Off Key Hat, Gatto Fritto, Cage and Avery and many more.
