The Filthy Six are the most exciting, authentic soul jazz outfit in the country today and are fast establishing themselves as one of the finest live acts around. A London based group, they play a hip-shakingly powerful mixture of soul jazz, funk and boogaloo in the finest traditions of late 60’s Blue Note artists such as Lou Donaldson, Grant Green, Jimmy McGriff and Donald Byrd. For this Sunday Special @ The Vibe Bar, this firing sextet will be performing a set largely made up of latin boogaloo monsters, and latin funk knee tremblers to round off your weekend.
