Homecut brings a fresh blend of critically acclaimed hip-hop, soul and sonic experimentation. The brainchild of emcee and producer Testament, Homecut performs live shows as a dynamic six-piece. Breaking the stereotypes that surround rap, Homecut navigate a social and spiritual commentary on everyday British life. The hotly anticipated debut album entitled “No Freedom Without Sacrifice”‘ was released on First Word Records in May to widespread critical acclaim. The album features collaborations with Grammy winner Corinne Bailey Rae, Mercury Prize nominee Soweto Kinch, US rap legend J-Live, cutting edge soul siren Andreya Triana and members of the Cinematic Orchestra.
